Hey Everyone! Have you been bitten by the couponing craze yet? It's everywhere! On TV, blogs, youtube, you name it, it's there. Last week I even had a woman approach me and ask if I did extreme couponing! The dedication these women have is insane. The lady said so far she had over $3000 worth of merchandise she had gotten for free through it in just this year! Ummm... WOW! Kudos to her!
If you are like me, it looks interesting but sounds daunting! I'd love to have the ability to obtain that amount of merchandise without having to be out that sort of money (legally and ethically of course). Anyway, now on to the show... well... the point anyway!
I recently viewed Couponing: The Extreme Video Course which is just what it sounds like: a set of videos teaching us how to coupon with the most efficiency possible. The course was put together by a Stay at home Mom who wanted to share her knowledge with us! I have to admit, I love when someone else does the hard part for me! All I had to do was sit back and watch, at my own pace, to know what those other women seem to know already! Yay! So, continue on and read about what I loved and loathed about the course so you can decide if you want to head over and get yours!
I loved that it was broke into the 14 videos! It enabled me to watch it without having to sit through 90 minutes at once. I was able to tend to my family, skip the parts that I already knew or didn't apply (she has videos dedicated to certain stores and their policies, not all were in my area). I also loved that I didn't get stuck watching the videos for long periods. Each video was short but informative, allowing me to live my life without having to put it on pause to get the information! I also loved that there was a lot of useful information and tips. She gives great suggestions and even gives links to follow up on those suggestions! She really went to bat for this!
I honestly didn't loathe anything about the video course. However, since I can't leave a big fat blank section, I'll tell you this... I would have been pleased to hear some sort of couponing trade secret (if indeed there is one) as well as perhaps left out some of the common sense stuff. Of course, just because it's common sense to me, doesn't mean someone else knows it..... So I guess that last one is void...
