If you met your husband through a bachelorette show, what kind of dates would you have gone on?
All kinds, but mostly the kind of dates that were different than the norm of dinner and a movie. Like a picnic in the park, water-skiing, or window shopping. We'd go shooting or hiking or 4-wheeling through mud puddles after a rainy day. We'd go to plays, sporting events, or concerts. We'd go to the state fair and eat cotton candy while browsing the booths. We'd carve pumpkins, go on hayrides, and find our way through a corn maze. We'd decorate gingerbread houses, check out Christmas lights, and go sledding or skiing. We'd play practical jokes on each other or someone else, we'd cook together, and play games. We'd play Frisbee golf, basketball, or toss a football. We'd get some friends together for night games or come up with our own version of The Amazing Race. In other words, we'd go places and do things that we'd remember.
Because that's one of the beauties of life, isn't it? Spending time with people we love, creating memories. and making new ones.
